Position Description and selection criteria:  Educator FPT July2017

GP sessions - Glenorchy, Launceston and Burnie

Family Planning Tasmania has a stable group of experienced and professional General Practitioners specialising in sexual and reproductive health.  We are interested in hearing from doctors with an interest in sexual and reproductive health and willingness to be part of a highly skilled team of clinicians.

The position would suit vocationally recognised doctors, who would like to complement their existing general practice work.

We require our doctors to have the Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Medical Practitioners (nationally recognised) and to become IUD inserters within their first year of working at FPT. FPT will assist you in becoming qualified in both these areas.

Please contact Kath Hinde, Practice Manager khinde@fpt.asn.au/ 0411 987 412 for a copy of the position description.

GP - Ongoing Capacity - Burnie

FPT is urgently seeking the services of medical practitioners to work in its Burnie clinic.

Our incumbent and longstanding doctor has decided to retire in early December 2015 and this leaves the Burnie clinic without a doctor.

The Burnie clinic currently operates 9am – 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, new doctors will have the opportunity to review/expand these hours and, in negotiation with the clinic, may choose the number of hours/sessions they work per week.

Please contact Kath Hinde, Practice Manager khinde@fpt.asn.au/ 0411 987 412 for a copy of the position description.
