Family Planning Tasmania’s Education and Clinical staff provide high quality relationships, sexuality, reproductive and sexual health education and health promotion statewide.

We provide professional development for medical practitioners, teachers, school support staff, community services staff and disability support staff.

Our community education and health promotion includes the delivery of school programs for students from Kindergarten-Grade 12.  In the last year, FPT provided education services to over 50% of all Department of Education schools.  FPT’s education services include education programs for people with disabilities and their parents and carers.

At FPT we believe that factual and comprehensive, age appropriate relationship and sexuality education is one of the key components for the healthy development of children as they transition through adolescence to young adulthood.

In this section of our website you will find information on all our professional learning opportunities and schools based programs, as well as our currently recommended resources for families, schools and professionals.
