Take Control Project is a skill development program for parents, carers, teachers and students in Tasmania. The project strategies and resources are designed to increase sexual health knowledge, negotiation and communication skills, with the aim of developing the capacity for young people to have healthy relationships.
SASS and FPT have been aware for some time of the increased incidence of unsafe and non-consensual sexual activity of young people in Tasmania. Through a successful Grant, we are now able to conduct extensive seminars and workshops designed FREE to assist parents, carers and teachers with issues surrounding sexuality in young people.
